OhioMeansJobs Medina County provides a full range of free assistance to job seekers under one roof. Established under the Workforce Investment Act, our center offers training referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment-related services.
- All of our services, for both individual job seekers and businesses, are free of charge. Our goal is to provide customers with tools and services that allow them to gain full-time employment.
- We also provide assistance to those currently employed who are looking for better employment opportunities and training. In order to provide the broadest array of programs and services, the Center works in partnership with a number of public and private employment and training programs and services.
JOB FAIR – Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join over 30 employers, OhioMeansJobs Medina County, the United Way of Medina County, the City of Medina, and the Medina County District Library for a Job Fair on June 28, 2018. The Job Fair will be held at the Main Branch of the Medina County District Library, located at 210 South Broadway Street, Medina, OH 44256.

Ohio Workforce Area 2
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA) requires the establishment of local workforce areas within states based on geographic, industrial, educational, and other regional economic factors. Summit and Medina Counties together form Ohio’s Local Workforce Area 2. Area 2 is governed by the Summit and Medina Workforce Area Council of Governments (SAMWA COG) and represented by the Summit/Medina Workforce Development Board (WDB).
