OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) Medina County Workforce Development Center provides a full range of free assistance to job seekers under one roof. Established under the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act of 2014 also known as WIOA, our center offers classes, career counseling and coaching, job listings, and job matching services.

 

All of our services, for both individual job seekers and businesses, are free of charge.  Our goal is to provide customers with tools and services that allow them to gain full time employment. We also provide assistance to those currently employed who are looking for better employment opportunities and training.

 

For businesses, OhioMeansJobs Medina County utilizes innovative strategies to help identify and achieve recruitment, retention and training goals. Services for businesses include: placement assistance, job listing opportunities, customized employee training, use of onsite facilities, and access to labor market information.

OhioMeansJobs Medina County Workforce Development Center Staff share a common passion for the work involved in developing and maintaining a quality workforce in Medina County and the State of Ohio. Our shared commitment is to exceed the expectations of our customers on a daily basis.

 

OUR GOAL

 

To provide Job Seekers  with tools and services to assist in the  goal of  gainful employment. We also provide assistance to those currently employed who are looking for improved  employment opportunities and training.

 

To provide Employers with the resources necessary to provide a comprehensive program for all employers looking to expand their workforce.

 

OhioMeansJobs Medina County supports the County’s revenue base by helping unemployed workers to re-enter the local workforce and become contributing tax payers again.
